Washing Guiding
🧼 Washing Instructions
Machine Wash ✅
Yes, you can machine wash your Robetag tees! Just follow these simple rules:
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Water temperature | Cold water (30°C / 86°F) — helps preserve colors and prevents shrinkage |
| Cycle | Gentle or regular cycle |
| Detergent | Mild laundry detergent |
| Inside out | 🔄 Turn your tee inside out to protect the print |
Hand Wash 👐
Prefer hand washing? Here's how:
-
Fill a sink or basin with cool water
-
Add a small amount of mild detergent
-
Submerge the tee and gently swish
-
Rinse with cool water until soap is gone
-
Gently squeeze (don't wring!) to remove excess water
🌬️ Drying Instructions
Air Dry (Recommended) ☀️
The best way to keep your tees in perfect shape:
-
Hang on a clothesline or lay flat on a drying rack
-
Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
-
Air drying prevents shrinkage and wrinkling
Machine Dry ⚠️
If you must use a dryer:
-
Use low heat or permanent press setting
-
Remove while still slightly damp
-
High heat will shrink your tee and damage the print
❌ What to Avoid
| Don't | Why |
|---|---|
| ❌ Hot water | Causes fading and shrinkage |
| ❌ High heat drying | Shrinks fabric and sets wrinkles |
| ❌ Bleach | Damages fibers and fades colors |
| ❌ Ironing directly on print | Can melt or crack the design |
| ❌ Wringing/twisting | Stretches and distorts fabric |
📏 About Shrinkage
100% cotton tees may shrink slightly (especially in the dryer). That's normal! To minimize shrinkage:
-
✅ Wash in cold water
-
✅ Air dry or tumble dry low
-
✅ Remove from dryer while still damp
Note: Our washed T-shirts are pre-shrunk for that perfect vintage fit.
🎨 Print Care
The prints on Robetag tees are designed to last. To keep them looking sharp:
-
Turn the shirt inside out before washing
-
Avoid fabric softeners (they can break down prints over time)
-
If ironing, iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth
📝 Quick Summary

|---|---|
| Cold water wash | Hot water |
| Gentle cycle | High heat drying |
